What we receive and why
When you upload an image, the file leaves your device and is transferred to our hosting server. We process its contents, original filename, file size, format and embedded metadata to inspect the image, remove supported metadata, display results and provide downloads. Metadata can include creation details, software names, prompts or location information, depending on the file.
No account, email address or payment details are required to use the current image-cleaning tool. Please upload only files you are entitled to process, and avoid uploading highly sensitive material.
How your images are used
The application uses uploaded images to carry out your requested processing. It does not publish your images, make them available to other visitors, sell them, use them for advertising or AI training, or send them to an external AI service. Processing takes place on hosting infrastructure used to operate this website. Authorized administration and hosting access may be needed to maintain or secure the service; temporary storage does not mean that server administrators have no technical access.
Temporary storage and automatic expiry
Originals and cleaned images are stored temporarily outside the public website directory. Access requires the matching active session. Your session expires after 30 minutes without qualifying activity, such as uploading, inspecting, cleaning, downloading or explicitly continuing the session. Simply leaving the page open does not keep files available.
At expiry, application access stops. Automated cleanup is scheduled every five minutes to remove expired files and session records, so physical deletion may occur shortly after access expires. A server or cleanup failure can delay deletion. Incomplete uploads are eligible for cleanup after ten minutes without upload progress. Download All creates a temporary ZIP for delivery and closes it when the response finishes.
Your deletion controls
Use Remove to delete an individual image from active storage, or Clear My Session to delete the originals and results in your session. Clearing files does not refund allowance already consumed. We do not offer a file recovery service. Files already downloaded to your device remain there until you delete them.
Cookies, technical records and browser storage
A necessary session cookie links your browser to its processing session. It is configured with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite protections and can remain in your browser for up to 24 hours; this does not extend the 30-minute inactivity limit. Blocking or deleting it can prevent access to your existing files.
The application temporarily keeps filenames, sizes, processing reports, session identifiers and usage totals. It uses a keyed hash derived from the connection IP address for abuse prevention and request limits. Old rate-limit counters are eligible for cleanup after approximately two hours. The hosting infrastructure receives connection information, including IP addresses, and may maintain operational or security logs.
The current application includes no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Its optional installable app caches website assets, not uploaded images or API responses. File and API responses instruct browsers not to cache their contents. Your browser or operating system manages downloaded copies independently.
Security and hosting limits
HTTPS protects transfers, and session authorization restricts file access. No online service can promise absolute security. The temporary-file schedule describes active application storage; it is not a promise about independent hosting logs or infrastructure backups, whose retention has not been verified for this notice. Do not treat this tool as a permanent archive or upload files that require a guaranteed hosting location, certified compliance or a specific backup-erasure schedule.
